I was fortunate to get a flyer from Malibu Coast Nursery while I was trying to develop my own analyses of Woolsey Fire losses at my property in the Malibu Hills. Montgomery Knox, the owner, gave an initial analyses that helped me realize the true value of the Oak forest and personal losses, greater than the County Assessor would recognize in their tower offices. My attorney hired him to catalog and evaluate all of the tree and personal losses. This includes binders of photographs and worksheets with measurements and valuations that include Drone photographed documentation within the geo-positioned parcel lines.

Montgomery was able to measure and photograph tree losses with the Cost of Replacement Method and document depreciated value with the Trunk Formula Method for trees too large to be purchased at a local nursery. His valuable horticulture knowledge is allowing me the potential to recover my losses and I encourage other property owners to take advantage of Montgomery’s extensive forensic knowledge. He has contributed some relief to my ongoing distress.
